Text the Bookcast and say "hi"!

Welcome to Chapter 75!

My guest is Mark Archuleta, the author of The Reel Thrilling Events of Bank Robber Henry Starr: From Gentleman Bandit to Movie Star and Back Again. Mark grew up in Oklahoma City where his father was a pioneering air traffic controller with the FAA. He now lives in California, but considers Oklahoma his second home state. In addition to this book, Mark is an Emmy-winning screenwriter, journalist, and performer. In our conversation, we talk about Henry Starr - one of the most prolific bank robbers of his generation - and about Mark’s process of researching and telling Starr’s story. You also get to hear a ton of great stories about this fascinating figure from turn of the century Oklahoma.
